BCH 100 with a grade of "C-" or better or BCH 110A with a grade of "C-" or better, CHEM 112C, and either CHEM 109 or CHEM 110A; or consent of instructor.
Description:
Lectures on the application of spectroscopy, imaging, and other physical methods in biochemistry including study of macromolecular structure, nucleic acid-protein interactions, subcellular structures, bioenergetics, mechanisms of enzymatic catalysis, enzyme kinetics, and metabolism.
